First, The Meeting Place is a space where you can make friends with people who live in Stocksbridge. There’s food at breakfast time and lunch time; try us once for free and then pay £1 a week after that if you want to join.
Second, we have excellent links with social services, housing, and other services, and we can help you get support from them if you need help with anything.
Third, we have a lot of community groups in and around Stocksbridge who are looking for new members, or new helpers. So if you wanted to try your hand at joining any of them, we can help you do that. We can support you while you take that first step.
